Serves: Approx. 12-15 meatballs   •   Time: 20 minutes


680g ground beef
2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
¾ cup parmesan cheese (grated)
½ cup flour
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp oregano
1/3 cup warm water
3 cups of your favourite sauce (marinara, bolognaise, tomato etc)


  1. Combine all the ingredients (except the sauce) in order to make the meatballs and mix thoroughly by hand
  2. Form the mixture into 12-15 meatballs
  3. Layer the meatballs in the inner pot of the InstaChef leaving a small space between each one so they do not touch
  4. Pour the sauce evenly over the meatballs (if the sauce is quite thick you can add in a little bit of water to the sauce)
  5. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and using the menu knob select the “Meat” function
  6. Using the +/- buttons adjust the time to 10 minutes
  7. Press start to begin cooking. Music will sound and the cooker will start the countdown once the optimum pressure has been reached inside
  8. When the timer ends, cooker will beep and will switch to the “Keep Warm” function automatically. Press the cancel button
  9. Release the pressure by holding the pressure release button on the top of the lid and then open the lid
  10. Serve the meatballs over spaghetti or rice
  11. Enjoy!
