Delicious Fudgy Brownies

Serves: 12 brownies   •   Time: 40 minutes


1/2 Cup butter
1/4 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Cup sugar
3/4 Cup unbleached white flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. honey
2 eggs
1/2 Cup chopped walnuts (optional)


  1. Melt the butter in the microwave and mix in the cocoa powder. Allow to cool slightly
  2. In a medium mixing bowl combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt and mix well
  3. To the flour mixture add the honey, eggs and the cooled butter/cocoa mixture. Mix well
  4. Add nuts, if desired and pour the batter into the inner pot
  5. Lock the lid into place and select the cake option (this defaults to 45min). Using the +/– buttons adjust the time to 30 minutes
  6. Press start to begin cooking. Music will sound and the cooker will start the countdown once the optimum pressure has been reached inside
  7. When the timer ends, cooker will beep and will switch to the “Keep Warm” function automatically. Press the cancel button
  8. Release the pressure by holding the pressure release button on the top of the lid. Open the lid and remove the inner pot
  9. The brownies can be served warm or cold, but they are easier to cut when chilled slightly
  10. NOTE: Do not use metal utensils on the inner pot as the non-stick coating may be damaged or scratched
  11. Enjoy!
