Creamy Sweet Potato Mash

Serves: 3-4   •   Time: 15 minutes


4 Medium to large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 3cm pieces
2-3 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp maple syrup
4 Tsp nutmeg
1 Cup cold water
Salt to taste


  1. Pour the cup of water into the inner pot and place the steaming basket inside
  2. Place the sweet potato onto the steaming basket and close the lid
  3. Press the “DIY” button and set the timer to 8 minutes
  4. Press start to begin cooking. Music will sound and the cooker will start the countdown once the optimum pressure has been reached inside
  5. When the timer ends, cooker will beep and will switch to the “Keep Warm” function automatically. Press the cancel button
  6. Press the pressure release button on the top of the lid and then open the lid
  7. Place the cooked sweet potato in a large bowl and partially mash the potatoes
  8. Add in the nutmeg, butter and maple syrup and continue to mash until you reach your desired consistency
  9. Season with a bit of salt and enjoy!
