When installing your washing machine, be sure to choose a space that is:

• Dry, level and secure
• Out of direct sunlight
• Well ventilated
• Has a room temperature above 0°C
• Make sure that the space you have chosen is stable and that the washing machine will not sit on top of the power cord

1. Before Washing – Ensure that the power cord is plugged in and the tap connected to the inlet pipe is open. Also ensure that the drain hose is securely connected to your drain. Load your laundry into the washing machine, add detergent and close the lid.
2. Washing – Once the drum has filled with water, close the tap. Using the Drain Selector dial, choose the Wash/Rinse function and set your Washing Programme (Normal, Heavy, or Soft). Set how long you want to wash for, using the Wash Timer dial. Once washing has completed, turn the Drain Selector dial to the Drain function.
3. Rinsing – To begin rinsing, open the tap connected to the inlet pipe. Once the drum has filled with water, close the tap. Using the Drain Selector dial, choose the Wash/Rinse function and set your Washing Programme (Normal, Heavy or Soft). Set how long you want to wash for using the Wash Timer dial. Once washing has completed, turn the Drain Selector dial to the Drain function.
4. Spinning – Shake out your freshly washed laundry before placing it into the spin tub. Place the inner spin cover inside the spin tub on top of the laundry, ensuring that it sits level horizontally. Close the safety cover as well as the outer spin cover and set your desired spin time using the Spin Timer dial. Please refer to the chart in your user manual for suggested spinning times.

Regular cleaning can help extend the lifespan of your Midea Twin Tub Washing Machine. The exterior surface of the washing machine can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and using diluted, non-abrasive neutral detergents if necessary. If there is any water overflow wipe it off with a cloth immediately.

Be sure not to use any sharp objects, or damaging cleaning agents such as formic acid, alcohol, or chemical solvents to prevent damage to the machine.

To keep your washing machine working efficiently and prevent residue build up, it is recommended that you regularly clean your Midea Twin Tub Washing Machine’s lint filter.

1. Press the button head at the top of the lint filter housing to release the filter.
2. Remove the filter claw, turn the net inside out and rinse thoroughly with water.
3. After re-inserting the filter claw, press the button to re-attach the filter to its original position.
4. A loud clicking sound indicates that it has been correctly attached.

If an object falls between the spin tub and the washing machine cabinet, follow these steps to retrieve the item:

1. Remove all of the screws on the frame cabinet with a screwdriver.
2. Loosen the connector of the brake belt.
3. Lift the frame upwards with both hands and turn it backwards.
4. Remove the dropped item.
5. Fasten the connector of the brake belt and re-attach the frame, ensuring that all the screws are replaced into their original positions and securely tightened.
