Braised Oxtail Recipe
Serves: 5 • Time: 1 hour 30 min

Ingredients:
- 1 kg oxtail
- 1 tbsp flour to dust oxtail
- 1 large chopped carrot
- 1 large onion
- ½ green pepper (finely chopped)
- 1 sachet of tomato paste
- 1 can of tomatoes (chopped and peeled)
- 1 glass of red wine
- 1/4 cup of sunflower oil
- A spring of curry leaves
- 1 chicken and 1 oxtail stock
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp aromat
- 1 tsp mother inlaw masala
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp oxtail soup
Method:
- Start off by dusting the oxtail with flour and place aside.
- Fry the oxtail in your Midea Instafry until they are brown on the outside and set aside (don't skip this step).
- Fry the onion and green pepper in the same pot.
- Add garlic and curry leaves.
- Add all your spices and stir.
- Add your meat together with the carrots in your Midea InstaFry and stir.
- Add tomato paste and a canned tomatoes.
- Leave to simmer for ten minutes and add your chicken and oxtail stocks.
- Add a glass of red wine.
- Put your pressure lid on and leave it to simmer for 40 minutes until the meat falls off the bone.
- Release your pressure valve and leave for 10 minutes.
- Add the oxtail soup and stir.
- Leave for another 10min before serving.
- Enjoy.
