Braised Oxtail Recipe

Serves: 5 • Time: 1 hour 30 min

Method:

  1. Start off by dusting the oxtail with flour and place aside.
  2. Fry the oxtail in your Midea Instafry until they are brown on the outside and set aside (don't skip this step).
  3. Fry the onion and green pepper in the same pot.
  4. Add garlic and curry leaves.
  5. Add all your spices and stir.
  6. Add your meat together with the carrots in your Midea InstaFry and stir.
  7. Add tomato paste and a canned tomatoes.
  8. Leave to simmer for ten minutes and add your chicken and oxtail stocks.
  9. Add a glass of red wine.
  10. Put your pressure lid on and leave it to simmer for 40 minutes until the meat falls off the bone.
  11. Release your pressure valve and leave for 10 minutes.
  12. Add the oxtail soup and stir.
  13. Leave for another 10min before serving.
  14. Enjoy.
