Pot Bread and Chicken Curry Recipe

Pot Bread

Serves: 6 • Time: 2 hour 15 min

Method:

  1. Add your dough to the pot and use the bread setting and set timer for 2 hours. Once done open the pot and flip the bread over and put it on the bake setting for 15 minutes.

Chicken Curry

Serves: 6 • Time: 35 min

Method:

  1. Add the cinnamon sticks, bay leaf, star aniseed and black elaichi and fry
  2. Add onion and saute until onion is golden brown
  3. Add ginger/garlic paste and fry for a minute
  4. Add the chicken together with the masala, cumin, coriander, garam masala and turmeric. Mix well and use the fry option and fry for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the tomatoes and potatoes, season with salt.
  6. Add a cup of water and allow curry to simmer on low heat until potatoes are soft and tender. Add the dried methi leaves in the last few minutes of cooking time.
  7. Put on the pressure lid and use the stew setting for 25 minutes.
  8. Hollow out the bread and put curry inside the hollow. Serve and enjoy.
