Perfect Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2-4 sweet potatoes
  • 250ml cold water

Method

  1. Add 1 cup of cold water to the cooker and place the metal trivet inside. Make sure the water is not touching the potatoes
  2. Poke each potato with a fork a couple of times and place onto the trivet
  3. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and press the “DIY” button
  4. Timing will depend on the size of your potatoes. Using the + and – buttons set the timer to 14 minutes for small potatoes, 16 minutes for medium potatoes and 18 minutes for large potatoes
  5. Press start to begin cooking. Music will sound and the cooker will start the countdown once the optimum pressure has been reached inside
  6. When the timer ends, cooker will beep and will switch to the “Keep Warm” function automatically. Press the cancel button
  7. Allow the pressure to naturally release on its own for about 10 minutes
  8. Press the pressure release button to get rid of any excess pressure
  9. Serve with butter
  10. Enjoy!
