Steam-Roasted Herb Potatoes


  • 1Kg Baby potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • ½ Tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ Tsp Italian herbs
  • ¼ Tsp Rosemary
  • ½ Cup water or stock

4-6 side dish servings

20-25 minutes


  1. On the pressure cooker control panel turn the menu knob to the “Fry” function and press start.
  2. Once hot, add the oil and place the potatoes in a single layer making sure they all have contact with the bottom of the pot (you may need to do this in batches)
  3. Mix all the spices together in a small bowl and then sprinkle them over the potatoes
  4. Brown the potatoes on both sides for 6-8 minutes
  5. Using a fork, pierce the middle of each potato
  6. Pour in the ½ cup of water or stock
  7. Place the lid on the pressure cooker and cancel the “Fry” function
  8. Turn the menu knob again until you reach the “Steam” function (this will default to 10 minutes)
  9. Press start to begin cooking. Music will sound and the cooker will start the countdown once the optimum pressure has been reached inside
  10. When the timer ends, cooker will beep and will switch to the “Keep Warm” function automatically. Press the cancel button
  11. Release the pressure by holding the pressure release button on the top of the lid and then open the lid
  12. Enjoy!
